Start of construction of the RiKu Hotel at Stuttgarter Tor

Together with Lord Mayor Thomas Keck, the parliamentary group leaders, the hotel operator and other project participants, the next building block for the Stuttgarter Tor district was set.

"We are pleased to have reached the next milestone in the Stuttgarter Tor district with the RiKu Hotel am Stuttgarter Tor." Willi Schöller, CEO of Schöller SI, is very satisfied. "At this point, our thanks go not only to those involved in the project, but above all to the municipal councils and the city of Reutlingen."
The hotel drives the development of the STUTTGARTER TOR QUARTIER forward and sets the next building block.

With RiKu Hotels, a hotel operator who was already familiar with Reutlingen in other respects could be won. Because with the QMUH Burgergrill Steakhouse Bar located in the Stuttgarter Tor and the Barfusser Hausbrauerei in the Obere Wässere, the Barfüsser Group already operates two restaurants in Reutlingen very successfully.

TO THE HOTEL OPERATOR

"During the construction of the Barfusser brewery in the Obere Wässere area, the cooperation with Schöller SI and the city of Reutlingen was so constructive and positive that we, my nephews Marcus and Dominik Krüger, both also managing directors of the Barfusser Group, and I, are now starting to build the RiKu Hotels am Stuttgarter Tor are all the more excited about a sequel.” says Eberhard Riedmüller, Managing Director of the Barfusser Group, with praise.
The RiKu Hotel is already represented once each in Ulm, Neu-Ulm, Weißenhorn, Pfullendorf and twice in Memmingen. The RiKu Hotel at Stuttgarter Tor is the seventh hotel in this chain. Conceptually it will be similar to its predecessors: comfortable rooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology and high-quality interiors. Nevertheless, guests can already look forward to additional technical refinements. The planned new look, which will remain true to the corporate design of the RiKu hotel chain but give it an urban vintage twist, also arouses curiosity.
The operators, Eberhard Riedmüller, Marcus Krüger and Dominik Krüger - each managing director of the Barfusser Group - are convinced that the exposed location near the train station and in the extension of the pedestrian zone, as well as the very good infrastructure of the city, make the RiKu Hotel even more attractive for city and business travelers will make.
