GREAT SUCCESS IN AGILITY SPORTS

Our trainee Ann-Kathrin and her dog Carra fought for a place among the top 50 starters in the large size class in the qualification runs for the European Open (EO) and the World Championships (WM) for adults! Out of a total of 130 participants, Ann-Kathrin held her own in tough competition and proved that she is one of the best.
Not only that, she also qualified for the World Youth Championships! Last year, Ann-Kathrin became German youth runner-up, and now she is using her talent at international level.

Here is some information about the EO/WM qualification runs for adults:
📍 1st & 2nd day: March 23.03rd and 24.03. in the DTC Agility Park in Mendig
📍 3rd & 4th day: April 20.04th and 21.04. at the HSZ NRW in Wülfrath

Of the 8 qualifying runs, she finished 6 without disqualification, and 4 of them without any mistakes! In order to even take part in the qualifying runs, you have to qualify with certain results within a set period of time - and Ann-Kathrin mastered that with flying colors.

For the Youth World Championships (JOAWC) she submitted her 10 best runs within the qualification period and scored 98 out of 100 points! At the JOAWC there are 8 places to be distributed per size class, and Ann-Kathrin secured 3rd place, which means that she will run on the 1st team from Germany.

Congratulations, Ann-Kathrin! Your dedication, talent and determination are an inspiration to us all. We are confident that you and Carra will continue to achieve great things!
