After two successful years, our primary school event for fourth graders from the region is taking place for the third time.
We were delighted to welcome 120 children, 6 classes from Münsingen and of course teachers to our Auingen wind power plant on July 3, 2026.
The festivities began with a few heartfelt words from Rebecca Hummel, Head of the Education, Social Affairs, and Public Order Office, who addressed the children on behalf of the town of Münsingen. Councilwoman Katja Spinnler also attended the event. Many thanks to both of them!
Our goal was not just to explain wind power, but to make it tangible – in an accessible, interactive, and on-site way. During the tour of the wind turbine, our colleague Thomas guided the kids through the world of wind energy. We were genuinely impressed by the many insightful and thoughtful questions from the students.
Besides learning, fun and games were of course also a must (with 120 children, that's hardly conceivable 😉). Football darts allowed them to burn off some energy, while the wheel of fortune sparked their competitive spirit and brought smiles to their faces with the winning of top prizes. 🎯🎡
Music, perfect summer weather and a food truck with delicious food created the right atmosphere.
We also focused on regionality in the organization. The football darts came from Hülben, and the prizes for the wheel of fortune also came from the region.
