Celebrate with tradition – on Sunday, July 14th, the Schwörtag takes place in Reutlingen!
Reutlingen residents have their own minds. And they celebrate this every year on the second Sunday after July 4th. For well over 400 years, from 1374 to 1802, Reutlingen was a free imperial city and thus directly subject to the emperor. Regional rulers did not have much say, Reutlingen practiced a kind of early democracy.
Look forward to a colorful program for the Reutlingen Schwörtag 2024: city tours, medieval market, colorful children's program in the cafeteria courtyard, Schwörtag ceremony, parade and much more!
