The planning of the planned wind farm in the south of Reutlingen is taking shape: The inter-municipal working group has unanimously voted in favour of the SCHÖLLER SI Renewables GmbH GmbH as project developer – a strong sign of regional expertise and cooperation.
Up to five wind turbines, each with a total height of 265 meters, are planned on a priority area of approximately 120 hectares in the Käpfle area. The turbines are expected to generate up to 12 million kWh of electricity annually—enough to supply thousands of households.
Particularly important: We deliberately chose the option with the least possible impact on people and nature. The planned distances to residential buildings are at least 900 meters. Additionally, we rely on gearless systems from a quality German manufacturer to minimize emissions such as noise.
The participation model is also convincing: investments are to remain local – with participation opportunities for citizens, companies, municipal utilities, and cooperatives. This creates genuine regional added value.
We look forward to the open exchange at the upcoming information events in the districts – and to driving forward the energy transition together with the region.
