On behalf of the city of Pfullingen and the Schöller Group, an urban development ideas and realization competition for the ArbachPark in Pfullingen was announced.

As part of the competition, the 8 hectare area was divided into three sections. For sections one and three (1 and 4 hectares), only design and usage ideas were required. Concrete plans were presented for the second, approximately 4-hectare area.

Associated press release from the Schöller group of companies:

Pfullingen, January 20, 2017 – Schöller & Partner GmbH is enthusiastic about the smooth and exemplary process flow of the entire planning competition and would like to thank everyone involved in the process for the highly professional cooperation.

The jointly agreed schedule was adhered to as planned. The Architektur 109 office, represented by Mr. Arnold, provided outstanding support for the planning competition.
Added to this was the great commitment of the city administration of Pfullingen (in the person of Mayor Schrenk, Mr Öhrle, Mr Riedlinger and Mr Kühnel) and the municipal council, which accompanied the process critically and benevolently.
The design advisory board, represented by Prof. Klumpp and Prof. Lorch, was characterized by the highest level of expertise combined with the necessary empathy. The competition was rounded off by a jury chaired by Prof. Klump, which was able to demonstrate excellent skills in the various disciplines.
