Construction work at the Magolsheim wind farm is progressing according to plan. After the civil engineering work is almost complete, work on the foundations began last week. To do this, the reinforcement will first be placed in the excavation pits before concreting continues. As soon as the concrete has hardened, the earth load will be placed on the foundation in the form of a sloped hill.
Sequence of the next steps:
By spring 2025: construction of the concrete towers
From April 2025: Assembly of the steel tube towers, nacelles and rotors
Summer 2025: commissioning of the first wind turbine
Fall 2025: commissioning of the last plant
At the same time, we are building our substation near Sontheim, south of Heroldstatt, which will be completed between November 2024 and February 2025. Work on the cable route connecting to the substation is already in full swing.
