Major visit to the Reutlingen district: Minister-President Winfried Kretschmann stopped at the Magolsheim wind farm under construction on his tour of the region – a true flagship project for the energy transition in Baden-Württemberg.
Together with Reutlingen District Administrator Dr. Ulrich Fiedler, Münsingen Mayor Mike Münzing, and State Parliament Member Cindy Holmberg, the Minister President observed the progress on the construction site. Particularly impressive was the approval process for the wind farm, which took only four months – a powerful example of what's possible when everyone pulls together.
Minister-President Kretschmann praised the region for its pioneering role and summed it up: “The people of the Alb region can do it!”
The Magolsheim wind farm shows that climate protection, regional added value and good cooperation go hand in hand.
