EXPERIENCE WIND POWER – WITH FUN, CURIOSITY AND LOTS OF ENERGY!

For the second time, we were able to host a very special event at our wind turbine in Auingen together with the city of Münsingen: Around 105 fourth-graders from Münsingen experienced wind power first hand – in bright sunshine, with many aha moments and lots of good humor.

Included in the package: exciting insights into the world of wind power – from the question "Where does electricity actually come from?" to the structure and operation of a wind turbine, as well as topics such as maintenance and safety. The children were able to explore the facility up close and ask many curious questions, such as: "Why don't wind turbines sometimes turn?" or "How does electricity get into the socket?"

The learning program was accompanied by lots of fun and games: football darts, go-karts, a wheel of fortune with prizes from the region – and of course, delicious food from the food truck.

Our goal: to make the energy transition tangible – right where it's happening: on the ground. For us, it's clear: education and participation are key building blocks for a sustainable energy future.

A big thank you to everyone involved in front of and behind the scenes – especially to our dedicated team: Mirjam Schöller, Matthias Jeske, Boris Hude, Erik Mandel, Sarah Muhr, Laurin Bühler, Laura Artmann and Marina Reicherter.
